Find the blind spots in your hiring process. Free, and before you change anything.

The free Pickr recruiting audit works from your real hiring history, or from eight answers about how you hire today, and tells you where candidates leave, which stages run slow and what that costs you every month. No signup, no obligation.

Most teams fix a hiring problem by changing tools. That is the expensive order. New software on a broken process gives you the same drop-off in a nicer interface, plus an implementation project. The audit does the cheaper thing first: it shows you where candidates actually leave, which stages actually run slow, and what the two together cost you in recruiter hours and money each month.

There are two ways to run it, and both are free. The quick version is eight questions about how you hire today. It takes about two minutes, needs no signup and no API key, and comes back with what your current setup costs you per month. The deeper version connects read-only to Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever or Bullhorn, or takes a CSV export from any other system, and works from what really happened in your pipeline.

We built it because we needed it. Before Pickr, our founder ran a recruitment agency and could never get a straight answer about where a search had gone wrong. The report you get is the one we wanted then: specific, ranked by what each finding costs you, and yours to keep whether or not you ever become a customer. Access is read-only, your key is never stored, the data stays in the EU and you can request deletion at any time.

How it works

How the engagement runs

  1. 01

Pick the version that fits your data

If your hiring history lives in inboxes and spreadsheets, start with the two-minute wizard: eight questions about your team, your volume and what you still do by hand. If you run Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever or Bullhorn, connect it read-only for the full audit. Any other system works through a CSV export of your candidates. Nothing to install, nothing to sign.

  2. 02

We read the history, we never touch it

For the connected audit, your jobs, candidates, applications, stage history and scorecards are read once and turned into the report. Your system is never modified and your API key is never stored. For a CSV upload, the file is analyzed in your browser and only the anonymous stage, status, date and job columns reach us, never a name or an email address.

  3. 03

Read the report, keep the report

A private link lands in your inbox within minutes. The report shows funnel drop-off stage by stage, which stages run slower than comparable teams, how often decisions were made with a scorecard behind them, and a ranked list of changes. Download it as a PDF, share the link with your team, and ask us to delete the audit whenever you like.

  4. 04

Decide what to do with it

Plenty of findings can be fixed inside the system you already have, and the report says so. If you want to talk it through, book thirty minutes with the founder. No sales deck; we rebuild one of your pipelines live in Pickr and you see whether the fixes hold. If you would rather take the findings and go, that is fine too.

Included

What you get

Funnel drop-off, stage by stage

Not a single conversion rate, but the exact point in the sequence where candidates leave, including the gap between application and first human reply that most reporting never shows. An illustrative finding reads: most of your loss sits before the first conversation, not at offer stage.

The stages that run slower than they should

Every stage is measured against comparable teams, so a slow stage is slow relative to something rather than to a feeling. The usual surprise is that the delay sits between stages, in the wait for feedback or a decision nobody was assigned, rather than inside the interviews themselves.

How much of your process is actually documented

How often an interview ended with a completed scorecard, how often an interviewer skipped it, and how often a hire went through with nothing written down. This is the part teams consistently overestimate, and it is what decides whether your next search can learn from your last one.

Changes ranked by what they are worth

A short list of specific changes, ordered by measurable impact on your pipeline rather than by how easy they are to do on Monday. The two-minute wizard adds what your current setup costs you per month in recruiter hours and money, so the list comes with a reason to act on it.

A report that is yours

A private link, a PDF you can forward to a partner or a hiring manager, and you can ask us to delete everything at any time. You get the findings whether or not you ever become a Pickr customer. We may follow up once by email, we never resell your details, and that is the end of it unless you want to talk.

Who it is for

A good fit if

  • Recruitment agencies whose client pipelines were never measured
  • In-house teams asked why the last search took so long
  • Anyone weighing an ATS switch who wants the case before the cost
  • Founders hiring from spreadsheets and inboxes
  • Teams that want the number before the sales call

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is a recruiting process audit?

A recruiting process audit is a structured review of your hiring pipeline that measures where candidates drop out, which stages take longer than comparable teams, and what the resulting delay costs you in money and recruiter hours. It works from your actual stage-by-stage history rather than from opinions about how the process feels, and it ends with a ranked list of changes ordered by impact, not by convenience.

How long does the free recruiting audit take?

The quick version is eight questions and takes about two minutes, with no signup and no API key. The deeper version connects read-only to your ATS and takes as long as your system needs to hand over the history, usually minutes. Either way the report arrives as a private link by email, and you can download it as a PDF or share it with your team.

Which ATS systems can the audit connect to?

The connected audit reads from Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever and Bullhorn. If you use a different system, export your candidates as a CSV and upload it; the report covers the same ground. If you have no system at all and hire from spreadsheets and email, run the two-minute wizard, which works from how you hire today rather than from records.

Is my candidate data safe during the audit?

Yes. Access to your ATS is read-only, nothing in your system is changed, and your API key is never stored. A CSV upload is analyzed in your browser and only the anonymous stage, status, date and job columns are sent to us, never names or email addresses. Everything is hosted in Frankfurt, Germany, under GDPR, and you can request deletion of the audit and all of its data at any time.

Do I have to become a Pickr customer to get the results?

No. The report is free and complete on its own, and many of the findings can be fixed in the system you already use. If you want to see how the same pipeline runs in Pickr, you can book a thirty-minute call with the founder, but that is your choice. There is no obligation. We may follow up once by email, and that is the end of it unless you want to talk.

What do recruiting audits usually reveal?

Two things, most of the time. The delay lives between stages rather than inside them: candidates wait for feedback, for scheduling, for a decision nobody was assigned. And far fewer decisions are documented than the team believes, so the reasoning behind past hires was never captured. Both are process problems, and neither is fixed by buying different software.
