Matching

Know why a candidate fits. Not just that they do.

Pickr scores every candidate against the real requirements of the role and tells you, in plain language, where they match, where they fall short and what to verify next.

Matching

What you get

Match reasoning you can show a client

Every score comes with the reasons behind it: which requirements the candidate meets, which they only partly meet and what is missing. You send the client a recommendation they can read and challenge, instead of "trust me, they are good".

Related skills, not keyword bingo

Pickr matches on a professional skills graph, so a candidate who has done the neighboring job with different vocabulary is not filtered out for lacking the exact noun. You see the related skills and verified qualifications that make the case, and you decide whether they count.

A scored shortlist in minutes

Upload the CVs, or let sourcing bring them in, and every candidate is scored against the role automatically. You open the job and start with the strongest matches at the top instead of reading the whole stack to find the few worth a call.

Accuracy that improves with every hire

When an interview, a rejection or a placement tells Pickr something about what a strong candidate looks like for this role and this client, the next shortlist reflects it. Your fiftieth search for the same role family is sharper than your first, and the reasoning stays visible the whole way.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What does AI candidate matching in Pickr actually give me?

A score for every candidate against the real requirements of the role, plus the reasoning behind it: which requirements are met, which are partly met and what is missing. You get a ranked shortlist in minutes and a written case for each person that you can send to a hiring manager or client as it is.

Can I explain an AI match score to a client or hiring manager?

Yes. That is the point. Each score comes with plain-language reasoning tied to the job requirements, so you can show a client exactly why a candidate is on the shortlist and where you still want to verify something. It reads like a recruiter's recommendation, not a black-box number.

Does Pickr just match keywords from the CV?

No. Pickr matches on a professional skills graph, so related skills and different vocabulary for the same capability are recognized. A candidate who has done the neighboring job is surfaced with the reasoning for why they might fit, and verified qualifications are shown separately from claims on a CV. You still make the call.

Does the matching get better over time?

Yes. Every interview, rejection and placement teaches Pickr what a strong candidate looks like for that role and that client, and the next shortlist reflects it. The reasoning stays visible throughout, so an improved ranking is still one you can explain to the people who asked for it.

Is AI candidate matching GDPR compliant and EU AI Act compliant?

Pickr is hosted in Frankfurt, Germany, and names and emails are redacted from AI prompts by default. Candidate matching is treated as a high-risk AI system under the EU AI Act: candidates are informed before it is used, every score comes with reasoning and no hiring decision is ever fully automated. A data processing agreement (AVV) is included.

Can I use the matching from Claude or ChatGPT?

Yes. Connect Claude or ChatGPT to Pickr via MCP and you can search candidates, move them through the pipeline, schedule interviews and send emails from a chat window, without opening the app. It runs on the subscription you already have.
