Pickr vs Personio
Personio is the HR operating system for thousands of DACH companies, and its recruiting module makes sense if you already run your HR on it. It is built for employers managing their own hires, so an agency’s clients, mandates, and placements live outside the system. Pickr is built around exactly those objects, with AI handling the admin between them.

Why recruiting teams pick Pickr
Stop rebuilding agency basics with tags and custom fields.
Clients, mandates, submittals, and placements are first-class objects in Pickr. On an in-house ATS your team recreates them by hand, and that work grows with every new mandate.
Stop doing work the AI should do.
Pickr scores candidates against requirements, drafts follow-ups, analyzes interviews against scorecards, and chases feedback automatically, all inside the pipeline your recruiters already work in.
Stop forwarding CVs over email.
Your clients review candidates, vote, and give feedback in their own portal, free and unlimited. No more attachment ping-pong or “did you see my last email?”

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is Pickr a good alternative to Personio?
For recruiting, yes. Personio is an HR suite whose recruiting module is built for employers filling their own roles. Pickr is a recruiting platform: AI scores every candidate against the real requirements, drafts replies in every thread, and analyzes interviews against your scorecards. Agencies get clients, mandates, and placements built in, plus a free client portal. You can keep Personio for HR: confirmed hires are pushed across.
Can I migrate from Personio to Pickr?
Yes. There is no one-click importer for Personio, so the move runs as a structured import: you export candidates and jobs from Personio via CSV or API, and our team maps your pipeline stages with you. It is typically done within a day. Nothing in Personio is changed, and it can keep running for HR while recruiting moves to Pickr. One-click importers exist today for Ashby, Bullhorn, Lever, and Greenhouse.
What does Pickr do that Personio does not?
Most of the AI layer. Personio has self-scheduling, reporting, and automations limited to candidate emails; AI scoring is announced for late 2026. Pickr scores every candidate automatically today, drafts replies in every thread, brings email, WhatsApp, and LinkedIn into one inbox, builds outreach sequences on a visual canvas, and analyzes interviews against your scorecards. Agencies also get clients, mandates, and a free client portal.
Where is my data hosted with Pickr compared with Personio?
Both host in Frankfurt, Germany, so server location is not where the two differ. The difference is what happens around the AI. In Pickr, names and email addresses are redacted from AI prompts by default, AI processing can stay entirely inside the EU with one setting, and a signed data processing agreement (AVV) is included. Every sub-processor we use is published, and candidate data is never used to train any model.
Who should stay on Personio?
Companies that run payroll, absences, and employee records on Personio, fill a handful of roles through inbound applications, and want one vendor for all of HR. The recruiting module covers that. Move to Pickr if you place candidates for clients, source actively, or want AI to handle screening, drafting, and interview analysis instead of your recruiters. Or run both: Personio for HR, Pickr for recruiting, with confirmed hires pushed across.
