Pickr vs Greenhouse · In-house ATS

Pickr vs Greenhouse

Greenhouse set the standard for structured hiring inside companies, and its scorecard discipline is genuinely good. It is built for one employer hiring for itself: agencies get submit-only access rather than a client portal, and reading, comparing, and chasing scorecards remains manual work. That follow-through is exactly what Pickr automates. Pickr pairs that structure with a modern, fast UI and AI that is native to the pipeline rather than added on top — at a flat per-seat price small teams can actually afford.

Why recruiting teams pick Pickr

Stop rebuilding agency basics with tags and custom fields.

Clients, mandates, submittals, and placements are first-class objects in Pickr. On an in-house ATS your team recreates them by hand, and that work grows with every new mandate.

Stop doing work the AI should do.

Pickr scores candidates against requirements, drafts follow-ups, analyzes interviews against scorecards, and chases feedback automatically, all inside the pipeline your recruiters already work in.

Stop forwarding CVs over email.

Your clients review candidates, vote, and give feedback in their own portal, free and unlimited. No more attachment ping-pong or “did you see my last email?”

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is Pickr a good alternative to Greenhouse?

For recruitment agencies, yes. For in-house teams it depends on what eats your week. Greenhouse set the standard for structured hiring and its scorecards are genuinely good, but reading, comparing and chasing them stays manual, and agencies get submit-only access. Pickr keeps the structure and does the follow-through: every candidate is scored automatically, replies are drafted in every thread, and clients review candidates in a free portal.

Can I migrate from Greenhouse to Pickr?

Yes. Pickr has a one-click Greenhouse importer. Connect your Greenhouse account and your jobs, candidates, applications and stage history come across in minutes, along with your interview kits and scorecards. The import is read-only, so nothing in Greenhouse changes, and both systems can run side by side until your team has switched. Most teams are live in a day, not a quarter.

What does Pickr do that Greenhouse does not?

Both have self-scheduling, reporting and interview kits. Pickr scores every candidate automatically, not only in top tiers. Replies are drafted in every thread, with email, WhatsApp and LinkedIn in one inbox. Interviews are analyzed against your scorecards, not just transcribed. Outreach sequences live on a drag-and-drop canvas, no add-on needed. Agencies get clients, mandates and placements built in, plus a free client portal.

Where is my data hosted with Pickr compared with Greenhouse?

Greenhouse is hosted in the United States, which is why the comparison on this page marks its European hosting as partial. Pickr hosts candidate data and the application itself in Frankfurt, Germany. Names and email addresses are redacted from AI prompts by default, a signed Data Processing Agreement (AVV) is included, and if AI processing must never leave the EU, that is a single setting. Every sub-processor we use is published.

Who should stay on Greenhouse?

Corporate talent teams that hire for one employer, run a mature structured-hiring process and have no client-facing work have little reason to move. Scorecard discipline, self-scheduling and reporting are strong in Greenhouse. Switch to Pickr if you place candidates for clients, if your recruiters spend their days chasing scorecards and drafting follow-ups, or if you need candidate data hosted in Germany and AI that can stay in the EU.
